Ribbon Ridge Retreat
PLAAD · Newburg, OR
Overview
The Ribbon Ridge Retreat is a compact vacation home in the hills of Oregon's Willamette Valley wine country. Carefully sited slightly above the surrounding vines to not disturb the regional agriculture, the contemporary form is defined by clean lines, a simple massing, and minimal ornamentation.
Drawing inspiration from the landscape, the vertical lines of the corrugated metal siding reflect the rows of nearby vineyards. A covered porch and bifold doors extend the living areas outdoors.
