Bunch Family Retreat
Tabberson Architects · Tallassee, TN
Overview
A defining feature of the Bunch Family Retreat is the reclamation and repurposing of an 1870s hand-hewn timber barn from Indiana, the ancestral homeland of the family.
Reimagined as a four-generational home prioritizing stewardship and enduring family connections, the restored timber frame, local stonework, and carefully crafted details create a rich biophilic environment. The Bunch Retreat is an enduring framework for family life that fosters deep connections to the landscape, shared history, and one another.
