Lakeview Retreat
PKA Architecture · West Lake Okoboji, IA
Overview
This new home overlooks a lake in Iowa. The site is a prized piece of property that has been in the husband's family for generations, so he and his wife envisioned a new home that allows the views of the water to take center stage.
The design team responded to the goals and the site with a series of pavilions linked by transparent spaces that offer a natural connection to the land and the lake.
