The 2026 Design Awards Call for Submissions

The 2026 ALA Design Awards opened for entries on July 1. Every submission is judged on the strength of the project itself, and every category is open to firms of any size.

Submissions closed August 28 and judging is complete. Winners will be announced at the Design Awards Gala on November 5 at Medinah Country Club, published in the annual Design Awards issue of Licensed Architect, and archived alongside past winning work in the ALA Design Awards Archive.

Reserve a seat at the Gala to see the winners honored, and browse past winners any time at the archive.
